Most certainly you cannot -- were a ghost capable of making such changes to the physical world directly, many cases would undoubtedly have differed dramatically. What I call into question is the reliability of your own appearance -- badge included.

However, I realize that badge numbers aren't common knowledge. To commit fraud, one needs the correct information. (Or, in some cases, the ability to intimidate others sufficiently to stifle questions.)
